EEG for Beginners | Session 5: Artifacts

Friday June 14th, 2024 | 9:00 - 10:00am PST

with Dr. Tiff Thompson, PhD, QEEG-D, R.EEG.T, BCN, MFT

Recordings are available after each course

Join Dr. Tiff Thompson for the fifth class in the EEG for Beginner's Course.

This course will teach about all types of artifacts. Artifacts are snippets of data that are not true to the brain and are things like muscle tension, eye blinks, sweat, and salt bridges just to name a few. Learn how to identify these artifacts and remove them from your recording. The skill you will learn to develop is how to identify artifacts during the live recording and correct for them in real-time to produce a clean and accurate recording.

We invite EEG case submissions, as they make the course fun and will be some off-the-cuff work and interpretation, bit by bit.

We invite you to submit your cases to: [email protected].

$50.00 USD or more

We recommend registering for the Summer Case Studies for Beginner's course if you are interested in seeing how this education is being applied to clinical cases.
