About Yury:
Dr. Jury Kropotov (Yury), is a globally recognized leader in the field of EEG and neurotherapy. Trained in both theoretical physics and human physiology, Dr. Kropotov has dedicated his career to advancing our understanding of brain function through quantitative EEG and event-related potentials.
He is a professor of neuroscience, and co-founder of HBImed AG in Switzerland. With over 300 scientific publications and numerous honors—including the USSR State Prize, the Copernicus Prize, and the M.B. Sterman Career Achievement Award—Dr. Kropotov’s work continues to shape the future of neurofeedback and brain-based diagnostics.
Yury holds the following degrees and distinctions: MS in theoretical physics (1972, Leningrad State University), PhD in human physiology (Institute of experimental medicine, Leningrad, 1975), Professor in neuroscience (Institute of the human brain, Saint-Petersburg), Doctor Honoris Causa (Academy of Sports, Gdansk, 2013), co-founder of HBImed AG (Chur, Switzerland).
