EEG for Beginners - The Complete Bundle | May - July 2024

This 10-week program is for those who are just beginning to read and interpret EEG data. Each week, learn how to identify EEG signatures, utilize brain-analysis software, and connect this data to pathologies and patient symptoms. Whether you are just starting out, need a refresher, or need to deepen your fundamental understanding of EEG and QEEG, this program is for you.

Join Dr. Tiff Thompson for an exciting exploration of reading the raw EEG data for newbies. She will walk attendees through the process in this informative series. This brand new class is offered for the first time on Monday, May 1st, and offered weekly, each Monday through July 31st. Though classes are offered individually, we highly recommend taking the full ten-course offering, as the curriculum builds upon itself.

The class will be devoted to reading the raw EEG, explaining important terminology and concepts, going over montages and morphology, recognizing artifacts, and addressing all the things that seem to stump beginners.  Many different forms of EEG assessment will be used, including Neuroguide, NeuroField, WinEEG, isync, and others.

One aim of this course is to guide beginner to understand how the raw data will affect the quantified data. We invite EEG case submissions, as they make the course fun and will be some off-the-cuff work and interpretation, bit by bit. We will discuss common (and not-so-common) cases, when to refer out, EEG of drowsiness, of infants and children, adults and seniors, and more.
